Hammeken Cellars has been invited to setup a master class tasting during the Enomaq fair

Hammeken Cellars was recently invited to setup a Master Class tasting during the Enomaq Fair held in Zaragoza Spain, February 2015. Enomag is the yearly rendez-vous of the Spanish wine industry for discovering new trends in machinery for wineries and packaging. This master class has been organized under the chaperonage of the FEAE, (Spanish Federation of Winemakers). Hammkenen Cellars was chosen to be special host of this Master Class: Tempranillo Tasting Seminar, due to their outstanding results in the contest “Tempranillo al Mundo 2014” where Hammeken Cellars’ wines won a total of 6 medals of honor: 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and the ONLY Grand Gold medal awarded in the competition. This tasting was directed by Patricia Giron and Daniel Gimenez both winemakers of the company. These winemakers not only gave the public the opportunity to taste the gold awarded wines Aventino 200 Barrels 2011 from Ribera del Duero, Montgó Monastrell 2012 from D.O. Alicante, Pasas Monastrell 2013 from D.O. Jumilla, and the Grand Gold Medal winner of the 2014 edition of Tempranillos al Mundo Flor del Montgó Tempranillo Organic 2013, but they also gave insight to each region and the unique characteristics that make the fruit from these regions winners.
