About the brand


Ribera del Duero is a region with a unique climate, terroir and very old Tempranillo bush vines. It is the home of some of the World’s highest quality wines, one of which is our Aventino 200 Barrels. Our own winemaking team has pushed their creativity to the limits taking vines between 60-120 years old and extracting a quality wine worth its weight in gold. The secret is not only in the fruit but also in the aging. Each year we purchase 200 - 1yr old French oak barrels and we fill them with only our best wine from each new vintage. It is in these barrels where the wine is aged for a minimum of 18 months. It is here where the change begins and with each new month each barrel starts to develop wine with different, unique characteristics. The winemakers taste through the barrels 3-4 times throughout the aging process to classify the wine development and makes his special selection of only the very best barrels.
