The grapes were carefully selected and manually harvested from the first fortnight of October. Gentle destemming and crushing. Cold soak at 5ºC during 48 hours, including 15% saignée to concentrate the musts. Temperature controlled fermentation and maceration beginning at 20-22ºC during first 2/3 and finishing at 25-26ºC towards the end of the fermentation in stainless steel tanks during 12-15 days. Malolactic fermentation and ageing was carried out in epoxy coated cement vats. 20% of the wine has been aged in French oak barrels for 4 months.

Tasting notes

Brilliant, dark red colour with violet hue. Rich aromas of sweet dark cherries, blueberries and violets with spicy hints, coffee and milk chocolate. Rich and juicy when entering on the palate with delicious flavours of ripe berry fruits combined with spicy and mineral notes and hints of chocolate. A well balanced wine with good refreshing acidity and gentle tannins.
