Exciting announcements to share with you

I am delighted to share important key changes in Hammeken Cellars, this company that I founded in 1996 and where I have been sitting as the CEO for 25 years, has experienced an impressive development in the last few years, such growth got me feeling like is the time for us to take a step further in alignment with our strategic goals, I have decided, with support of the Management Group of Hammeken, to pass the baton of my chair, to Sailé Ramirez as our new Chief Executive Officer.

I’m convinced she’s the right leader that will give continuity to this growth, Sailé thanks to her strong Education and solid track record in our company leading the financial department and Supply Chain, will set the structure for the expansion of Hammeken Cellars Operations, her natural talent of leadership and her strong communication and negotiation skills will guarantee quality and excellence in the future of our company, always under the premises of profitability, sustainability and shared values.

On my side, I will continue working hard and with passion, from a place I feel naturally connected, with this structure i´ll be occupying the position of Director of Innovation. Innovation it´s a key department inside Hammeken Cellars, as Creativity is the DNA of this company and the foundation of our future. I will still maintain my key customers so I will be very close to sales as well. Likewise, in the legal and organic structure of the company I will formally continue as sole director.

Our Financial Department will be very well attended in the hands of Mariluz Gilabert as our new CFO, with more than 14 years’ experience, and her deep understanding of the financial aspect of the company we will make the best use of our resources and investments.

Sailé and I will be working in this transition side by side, we are both very excited and eager for what is ahead of us.
