Hammeken Cellars Advances Its Corporate Travel Emissions Measurement
Hammeken Cellars is continuing to advance its sustainability strategy by measuring the carbon emissions associated with its corporate travel.
After reviewing its supply chain and identifying different opportunities to reduce its carbon footprint, the company extended its focus to business travel. To address this challenge, Hammeken Cellars began using Goodwings to book its trips and measure the resulting emissions.
This provides the company with a clearer understanding of the impact of its corporate travel and an objective basis for identifying reduction measures.
“Goodwings helped us with a huge headache: tracking and calculating our travel emissions,” says Nicholas Hammeken, Founder of Hammeken Cellars.
Hammeken Cellars exports more than 1.8 million cases of wine to over 37 countries every year. Given this international reach, measuring corporate travel represents a relevant step in the company’s commitment to understanding and managing the impact of its operations.
Because when it comes to sustainability, you cannot manage what you do not measure.
