Valérie Durand, is a French oenologist who got her diploma in the Oenology Faculty of Burdeaux. in 2001, complimenting it with a diploma on Agriculture Technique, also in Budeaux in 2003. She started her career in the prestigious AOC Pessac, Leognan and Pomerol (France). Later she arrived in DO Jumilla as Head Oenologist in Finca Omblancas, where she lead the department, as well as R&D from 2003 to 2009.
She then moved to Bogedas Hacienda del Carche, also in DO as Technical Director and oenologist from 2009 to 2018. She also has worked in different R&D projects with Murcia University. Murcia, where she also teaches oenology.
