Patricia Girón, winemaker at Hammeken Cellars

#HammekenCellarsTeam | Patricia Girón has been part of the company since 2012, that is, for 11 years. She started in 2012, although we had previously worked together for a few years in the La Mancha region, where she was born and worked in her early years in winemaking.

What attracted her the most to our company was the ability to experience so many different things in the world of wine. Currently, she emphasizes that she still enjoys the daily novelties, both in the creation of blends in the Levante region and collaborating with colleagues in other parts of the Peninsula, as well as establishing and ensuring the quality controls for all our products.

What she likes most about her job is that she never stops learning, as she highlights that viticulture, wine production, and even the way of consuming it are constantly evolving. Additionally, she emphasizes that in the company, we are always attentive to changes. Probably, what she likes most about her job is the development of new wines.

Patricia has infinite patience, and she always reminds all her colleagues, "Everything is going to turn out well." She is a fanatic of the Godello grape, and Gotas de Mar Fermentado en barrica is her weakness. Her favorite time to enjoy it? Without a doubt, a warm sunset with friends.
