Pueblo Desconocido Tempranillo Syrah

Pueblo Desconocido Tempranillo–Syrah is sourced from old bush vines over 30 years of age, grown on the Spanish plateau of Cuenca at elevations ranging from 700 to 1,000 meters. These extreme conditions, with hot summers and cool nights, help shape a wine with balance, aromatic clarity and natural freshness.

The grapes are harvested in the second half of September and undergo a cold maceration at 5°C for 48 hours, followed by fermentation between 24–28°C for 12–18 days. The wine is then aged for 10 months in French oak, allowing complexity to develop while preserving the wine’s expressive character.

Red wine

In the glass, the wine shows a bright ruby-red colour. On the nose, it reveals aromas of black cherry, blueberry jam, licorice and subtle spicy notes. On the palate, it offers a pleasant, rounded entry with soft, velvety tannins, good volume and a lingering finish marked by notes of blueberry, licorice and spice. Dry, full-bodied and well-structured, it is a contemporary expression of Tempranillo and Syrah shaped by altitude and terroir.
